Renata performs son jarocho on the requinto jarocho, leading melodic improvisation over the group’s rhythmic foundation. She sings the call-and-response verses central to the tradition and teaches workshops for newcomers. Her skills grew through years of participation in community fandangos and cultural exchange programs.
