Spanish Fiesta

As May 5 approaches, people in the United States start planning to attend Mexican-themed parties; at the same time, many people don’t know what they are really celebrating or confuse this day with Mexico Independence Day.

With this program, students will learn that Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day through a story, music, and even dance.
