Bilingual stage director rooted in community-based theatre
Mateo Herrera directs new and devised works that center Memphis Latinx stories, often staging the same production in both English and Spanish. He trained in directing at the University of Memphis and apprenticed with regional ensemble companies across the Mid-South.
